Despite the diverse topics, the group maintains a historiographical perspective that emphasizes global integration rather than a nationalist viewpoint.

  • History of contemporary social movements: Emphasizes opposition movements to the dictatorship in Portugal from 1926 to 1974, with particular attention to student opposition and its role in establishing the democratic system in the 1970s and subsequent periods
