International congress | October 29 - 30, 2026
On 29 and 30 October 2026, the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-Iscte) will host the international conference of CR25 – Sociology of Labour Relations and Trade Unionism – organised by the International Association of French-Speaking Sociologists (AISLF), dedicated to the theme ‘Understanding and representing work’.
This conference brings together French-speaking researchers to explore the many ways of understanding and representing work, in its theoretical, methodological and empirical dimensions, whilst promoting scholarly debate and exchange between different sociological traditions.
