The Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-Iscte) intends to recruit a professional in the area of communication and event management.

The role involves supporting activities related to the dissemination and promotion of the Centre’s scientific and institutional profile. This includes content management for digital platforms, as well as the planning, organisation, and coordination of scientific events (such as seminars, conferences, workshops, and other initiatives), ensuring their logistical execution and associated communication. These activities aim to contribute to the valorisation and dissemination of the scientific knowledge produced at CIES to diverse audiences.

Required profile:

• Strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and motivation to work within a scientific and academic environment;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail and appropriateness to academic contexts;
• Strong planning and organisational skills, particularly in the integrated management of events (preparation, logistical support, coordination, and follow-up);
• Ability to manage multiple processes and meet demanding deadlines;
• Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to work collaboratively in a team;
• Creativity and sensitivity towards the promotion of scientific culture and knowledge dissemination;
• Skills in image editing and graphic materials production.
