The exhibition “Asian Lives in Europe” will be on display at the Macau Scientific and Cultural Centre, in Lisbon, from 13 March to 13 April, presenting the public with a collection of personal narratives and artistic works that explore the experiences of Asian communities across Europe.
Developed within the framework of the AspirE Project, the exhibition brings together personal stories, artworks and video diaries that address themes such as belonging, identity and mobility. Through a combination of visual storytelling and personal testimony, the exhibition offers insight into the diverse ways in which Asian identities are experienced and expressed within contemporary European societiees.

By presenting a range of narratives and creative formats, Asian Lives in Europe highlights the everyday experiences, challenges and contributions of individuals of Asian origin living in Europe. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on issues of diversity, inclusion and intercultural dialogue, while shedding light on perspectives that are often underrepresented in public discussions about migration and identity.
The presentation at the Macau Scientific and Cultural Centre marks a new stage in the public dissemination of the AspirE Project, reinforcing the connection between academic research, artistic practice and wider society. The initiative aims to foster dialogue and greater awareness of the cultural and social dynamics shaping increasingly diverse European communities.

Alongside the physical exhibition, Asian Lives in Europe also remains available online, allowing broader audiences to explore the stories and materials featured in the project's website.
The initiative forms part of the AspirE Project’s scientific dissemination activities, promoting the connection between academic research, artistic practices and society.
