The workshop is linked to PROWORK: Projectifying Work's research and has as its goal to inquire and unpack some of those spaces that manifest the 'projectification' rationale. Its starting point becomes the material gathered during the research process and uses its list of case studies to chart those architectures associated with our present temporary structures, impermanent environments, work relationships. It intends to problematize whether and to what extent architecture actively contributes to the formation of those conditions or it is an outcome of them.
In this effort to critically discuss the links of the recent changes in the organization of work and their spatial footprint, we will use the medium of the analogous drawing to synthesize and communicate in one drawing the vectors present in this complex context. The analogous drawing will become the means of unveiling these associations in pursuit of a representation of such process and organization of work and life at large.
The workshop will take place in small groups. Each group will focus on one case study and produce one drawing. Together, the drawings will contribute to the research’s multi-disciplinary work and present a collection of today's architectures of 'projectification'. Please bring with you your laptops (with any drawing software), iPads, etc.
There is no cost to attend. Registration is required and places are limited: https://forms.office.com/e/9cLp3XGYMU
