The next workshop of the Methodological Innovation Laboratory will take place on the afternoon of May 8, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., with the theme “Biographical landscapes. Plans, perspectives and tools for observing the lives of others”.
Abstract
Biographical research is defined by its concern to understand the configuration of life journeys and the meanings associated with them, always seeking to connect biographies and society, people and structures, individuals and history. Methodological plurality has always characterized this type of research, with the use of methodological tools, mainly of an immersive nature, based on words and narratives, but also on images, objects and the unsaid. What each instrument allows us to observe is decisive for what we can access about other people's lives. This workshop will reflect on the main characteristics of biographical research and its methodologies.
