The Art of Being a Migrant is a four-day festival that looks at Portuguese migrations from different temporal and geographical angles. It takes place from April 3 to 6, 2025 in the Bombarda Gardens, in partnership with Largo Residências.
The event aims to cross scientific and artistic productions on Portuguese migrations and bring to Lisbon actors from various geographical contexts and disciplines (history, sociology, anthropology) and artists from different areas (cinema, illustration, literature) from Switzerland, Luxembourg, France and northern Portugal. Over the course of four days, there will be round tables, workshops, exhibitions, screenings and book presentations, among other activities. Admission is free.
The program will be available soon, so stay tuned to the Festival's social networks.
