The public presentation of the Artistic and Cultural Atlas of Portugal will take place on 27 September 2024 at the National Library of Portugal.

The study on the Artistic and Cultural Sector of Portugal aims to map and characterise the existing cultural facilities and active artistic entities. It seeks to produce updated indicators that can support strategic decision-making by the governmental cultural sector and inform public and private entities, as well as citizens.

The study was carried out as part of the institutional partnership agreement between the Directorate-General for the Arts and Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon, through the Portuguese Observatory on Cultural Activities (OPAC).
