On December 5th, 2022, at 17h30, the award ceremony for the António Dornelas Award 2022 - 6th edition of the award created by the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security (MTSSS), in 2017, within the scope of the centenary celebrations of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, took place at Iscte.
CIES-Iscte researchers Renato Miguel do Carmo, Jorge Caleiras and Rodrigo Vieira de Assis and CES-UC researcher Isabel Roque were awarded for their scientific work developed and presented in the publication "O Trabalho Aqui e Agora: Crises, Percursos e Vulnerabilidades".
The awards were delivered by the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho, and by the Secretary of State for Social Security, Gabriel Bastos.

The António Dornelas Award is intended to reward scientific or technical works prepared by students, researchers and university lecturers in the areas of work, employment, vocational training and labour relations, as well as the areas of social security and solidarity and the inclusion of people with disabilities.
It is also a tribute to university professor António Dornelas, sociologist, specialist in labour issues, coordinator of the 2006 Green Paper on Labour Relations, researcher at the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-Iscte), adviser to the President of the Republic for Labour and Social Affairs and Secretary of State for Labour and Training.
