Botelho
Azevedo
holds
a
PhD
in
Demography
from
the
Universitat
Autònoma
de
Barcelona.
Currently,
she
is
a
research
fellow
at
the
Institute
of
Social
Sciences,
University
of
Lisbon,
and
guest
lecturer
at
ISCTE
-
Instituto
Universitário
de
Lisboa.
She
is
also
a
member
of
the
Board
of
Directors
of
the
Association
of
Historical
Demography
(2017-2019)
and
member
of
the
Fiscal
Council
of
the
Portuguese
Demography
Association
(2015-2016
and
2017-2018).
Her
research
focuses
on
the
study
of
housing
demography,
demographic
ageing
and
on
the
sustainability
of
the
Portuguese
pension
system.
