Denise Henriques has a PhD and Master's degree in Public Policies from ISCTE-IUL and a degree in Social and Cultural Communication from the Catholic University of Portugal. She is an expert in Country Brand Policies, (Inter)Regions, and Cities, relating these Place Brands to Companies and Global, Digital, and Sustainable Socioeconomic Development.She is a researcher at CIES-IUL/ISCTE-IUL and ICNOVA/New University of Lisbon, dedicating herself to teaching, research, scientific consulting, reviewing and publishing articles in scientific and specialized journals, and she is also a regular speaker at international conferences.She developed, along with AICEP - Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal, the Strategic Plan for Portugal Brand.
